Skyrim 1.2

Okay, so for the first quest "Unbound". I was firstly born on a cart as a prisoner. Then a man called “hadava” notices me and gives me a choice to choose race, face, hairstyle and so on. I firstly saw a face of a tiger and it really scares me. I was like "omg, wt* is this!". Then comes the wood elves, I was like "ew..." and it really ruins elves' good impression in my mind before. Anyway, I check all the choices for race and found that only Nord is acceptable if only considering about good-looking appearance. 

  

However, If you guys really wanna play this game not as an assignment for an engl131 course but as a game which you really wanna take it seriously, I would recommend considering about your class before choosing your race. For example, argonians can have 10 extra point on picking skill and 5 for sneak, light armor, stealth. It's perfect for a rogue using knife but not bow. The high elves can rapidly regain mana in 60 seconds and it has 50 extra mana in total. It also has 10 extra point on destroy skill, so it's perfect for a destructive mage (idk how to say it in engl srr). For warrior, I would highly recommend ORC for its special skill: deal double damage and reduce damage taken by 50%. That's really useful for a short-range warrior.

I chose nord as my mace and because of the mod I have installed before. It really don’t bother me whether my character is good-looking or not. I followed the Imperials this time. Actually I chose the Imperials for my first round and Stormcloaks for the second. So I don’t really care about it that much. The most impressive thing is always the dragon’s language. I noticed that the dragon really said something which I can’t understand when I’m in my first round and I was really interested in dragon’s language.  

Skyrim 1.1

  Hi everyone my name is Ray and this is the first blog post of my Skyrim experience. 

  Frankly, I have played this game for two rounds (firstly as a warrior and secondly as a mage). Since there are only three options for players to choose in the very beginning (mage,warrior and rogue), I certainly choose the rogue for my third round. 

  Well, back to the main point: the name. It cost me only 1 sec for considering about my name in this game which is : Lastwhisper. When talking about the reason why I choose this name, we may need to talk a bit more about another game. I used to play another game called league of legend (lol) for about one year. There’s an item in it called "The Last Whisper" which is a very cool and useful bow. I like it so much that I started to use Lastwhisper as my online account name for various soft-wears and games. 

  After talking about my name, let's think about the names in Skyrim a bit more. Take the empire's general Tuliusi and the storm cloak's leader Ulfric as two examples. When I firstly heard about the two names I have an impression that Tuliusi maybe a good man. However, Ulfric sounds a little bit gloomy so I don't really have any connection between Ulfric and nice guy. After one round playing this game, I found my first impressions of this two characters are almost correct. Tuliusi is actually a man with justice and tolerance but Ulfric is really sinister and with big ambition in his mind.  

  Although I can't tell why the name “Tuliusi” can give me good impression and the name “Ulfric” can gives me a bad one, these two examples still shows that names can show a character's characteristics. (NPC in games)
